Temat postu: Oświadczenie Frank'a o rzuceniu Skeleton Crew:
W orginale (po angielsku):
“Hello friends, long time no talk…I’m sorry.
I’ve been putting this letter off for awhile now. This past year and change have been hectic for me to say the least. There is no way i could have handled everything on my plate without a great family and amazing friends lending their help and support every step of the way. There are a few people in this world that i really trust and without them, my juggling act would have been disastrous. I feel extremely fortunate to have these people in my life.
About 5 years ago, when Jamia and I first started Skeleton Crew, we knew it didn’t belong to us. It wasn’t ours to own….we were just there to facilitate, give it a name and a place. But you, the men and women, the boys and girls, the believers, the kids were always the beating heart of the crew. Skeleton Crew is yours, it would be nothing without you. The person behind the bills is insignificant, the community is what is important. which brings me to the intent of this letter.
In the very near future I will be embarking on a new and exciting chapter in my life. If I thought the past year or so was hectic, I have another thing coming. My wife and I just had beautiful twin girls and my brothers and I will have released a new My Chemical Romance record. With everything that is going on in my life I have been finding it harder and harder to be able to delegate the amount of time needed to run the business end of Skeleton Crew. I know that if it weren’t for my good friends, Charlie and Ed, picking up the large amount of slack, Skeleton Crew would have had to close up shop a very long time ago. Please give them a warm round of applause. I have thought long and hard about if or how to continue Skeleton Crew and I feel that it would be unfair to all of you to shut it down because I am busy with other things. You have built this community, it is because of your hard work that you have made a difference in this world and you deserve a capable facilitator to inspire you. I knew I had to make a decision… I would love to be able to do a million things and be in six places at once but I have learned that it is impossible and I don’t want anyone to suffer because of my absence. I love the crew but I cannot be there as much as you need or as much as I want… So I must say goodbye and pass the torch. I know there are none more capable hands to leave you in than Ed and Charlies. They know you and and how the crew runs better than anyone and they have the heart and time to do it right.
I want to thank you all for supporting the crew over these past years. I am so very proud of you. Along with Ed and Charlie, I would like you to take the reigns of this thing and run it into the sun. The sky’s the limit. I wish you guys happiness and greatness and I promise to check back in from time to time. Keep the faith. xofrank”
